Body - Biblical spirituality for the whole person -Paula Gooder

More and more people are becoming less and less happy about themselves and want to ‘change’ their bodies. Paula Gooder, Theologian in Residence at the Bible Society, seeks to initiate a theological conversation about this. Her message is clear. What makes a beautiful body is not image but inner and outer integration.

Being Disciples  - Rowan Williams

A 86 pages book of sublime simplicity.  The best book I have read since Bonhoeffer wrote his famous work on discipleship back in the 1930s. This is pure gold.

Multi-Congregation Ministry  - Malcolm Grundy

Local church life is changing radically. More and more churches are being grouped together because of ministerial shortage. Congregations are bewildered. Clergy are overworked and are not always tearm players. There are problems of oversight and issues of identity. This book addresses ways of dealing with this new situation so that churches can grow and flurish

On Augustine   - Rowan Williams

The legacy of St. Augustine of Hippo, is a mixed one. He is accused of making sexuality sinful, legitimatizing authoritarian ecclesiastical systems, complicating Christianity with doctrines like the Trinity and of being more interested in a heavenly city than in the political realities of this world. Rowan Williams’ in this most important book demonstrates that these clichés have no validity. In an intellectually confused culture such as ours, Augustine has important things to teach us.
